Title: Dragon
[Theme and Vision]
When noctilucent clouds take the shape of a "dragon" ascending through the night sky, the vibrations rise.
For the Yanagida family, the existence of the "dragon" holds a special meaning.
The path of calligraphy is one where every day serves as the "final touch" to bring a work to life, no matter its scale.
Through this piece, I aim to continuously express the grandeur of the "dragon," as it appears in the night sky.

[Frame]
Crafted by Yokoyama Seiwado, Kyoto

[Mat]
Made using traditional Nishijin weaving techniques from Kyoto, incorporating ultrafine metallic threads (mainly stainless steel) in a jacquard weave.
Characterized by its "metallic brilliance" and "ever-changing expressions depending on lighting," the mat was created by Kyoto-based designer Tochi.
